How to Check Affiliation Online

The government has made it easy to verify the status of any institute:

  1. Visit Official Websites: Go directly to `ugc.ac.in` or `aicte-india.org`. They maintain publicly available, updated lists of approved institutions, as well as a list of "Fake Universities" to avoid.
  2. Check Affiliation to State Universities: Many private colleges are not universities themselves; they are affiliated to a state university (e.g., SPPU in Pune or MU in Mumbai). You can check the state university's website to verify if the specific college is listed as an affiliated institute for that academic year.
  3. Look for NAAC/NBA Accreditation: While not mandatory for basic operation, high grades from NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) or NBA guarantee a high quality of education and infrastructure.

At IMPARC Institute, we do the heavy lifting for you. We only partner with and recommend universities that hold flawless regulatory records, ensuring your degree is globally recognized and highly valued by top employers.
